Join the Community

If you are passionate about life, the environment, food security, building community and living a healthy, earth friendly lifestyle, you have come to the right place. As a community we actively promote environmental awareness, home-cooking, gardening, local food and more. We believe that together we can make a difference and together we can change the world.

Simple Food

The Simple Food program helps to educate and remind our community that there is a better way, a healthier choice, good old fashioned home-cooking.

Our goal is to work together to compile two living-books, the "Simple Food Cookbook" and the "Simple Food Guidebook".

These living-books contain our tried-and-true recipes and first-hand information on a number of topics, from wine & beer making to food preparation, canning and dehydrating. Additionally "Simple Food" hosts an online Seed and Seedling Exchange

Organizations & Businesses

If you are a member of the environmental community and are interested in taking advantage of the ecopartners social media communications tools, please checkout our Organization/Business and Community Partner programs. These programs are open to selected, active, environmentally conscious, organizations and businesses in Canada.

Seeds & Seedlings Exchange

We have learned that there are many people in our community that save an abundance of seeds at the end of each growing season. So we have created the Simple Food Seeds & Seedlings Exchange to help Community Club members that are interested in organic gardening and heritage/heirloom plant varietals, share and exchange seeds and seedlings.

The Seeds & Seedlings Exchange is easy to use. As it grows it will contain listings of seeds and seedlings that members can exchange with each other. As this is a new program and we need your help to get started.

Local Redefined

How do we define local?

We believe that local, independent businesses are among our most potent change agents, uniquely prepared to take on the challenges of the twenty-first century with an agility, sense of place, and relationship-based approach others lack.

In the age of the Internet and social networking and the emergence of “glocalism” as a new form of social consciousness, we believe that never before have communities possessed as much power to determine their futures as they do today and in ways that are good for people, places and the planet.
